Meowie. Wo hui lai le!
Back from my short get-away. Went Genting with Dap, her mum, and Tsu. Feeling much more rejuvenated now. :)
Our three-day stay there was relaxation, relaxation, and Relaxation. Although the weather wasn't as cold as I've expected, it was still cooling and comfortable. The long journey there was dreadful because we took those normal coach there, those no-frills type. No mini-tv, no massage chair. But when we arrived, we forgot about everything about the long travelling hours.
We arrived there at about 2plus in the afternoon. In the cosy weather, we ate Ba Kut Teh for lunch. Then we checked into our hotel and first place we went was the casino! The purpose of our visit there was definitely not gambling, we wanted to go in to have a look only. But in the end, we ended up playing at the casino tables. Lols. =.= The master cum culprit, Tsu, who taught Dap and me how to play 'Three Pictures' at the tables. We betted 100 ringgit and lost! Felt sian and we walked around the casino instead. Not much shuai ges around.. Hahass. Den we left..
We then went to drink coffee at Coffee Bean and then bowling. Dap played till her nails broke o.o! Had dinner at this restaurant 'Hao You Ji' and Dap's mum treated us. Played at the arcade till late and had KFC for supper~ It's weird why their KFC tastes much better than Singapore's somehow. The spices they use are different and we enjoyed the chicken very much. The three of us ate 6 pieces of chicken, 12 pieces of nuggets, two cups of whipped potatoes and one large size potato wedges. And this is despite our filling dinner earlier on.
The second day, we went back to the same restaurant (the day before) and had dim-sum for breakfast. The food is not bad, just that some of the dishes are cold when served. =.= Best thing is, we asked the waiter to reheat the dish for us, but when it was served again, it was as cold as before =.=! Probably the weather there made food turn cold very fast, or probably the waiters are too slow.........
We went to take the cable car ride down the mountain and back up. Hahass it was quite fun! Dap was too scared to even open her eyes, while I was busy snapping photos away~ Hmms, the weather at the bottom of the mountain was kinda warm though. We visited a mini-zoo there too before going back to our cosy place. Back to the mountain, we had Baskin Robbins ice-cream in the cold, nahhh.. it wasn't tat cold actually :X Though on holiday, I still missed singing! And so we went K-ing.. The K-lunch they have there is really cheap! We sang for 2 hours plus fish & chips for lunch. Each of us paid only 18 ringgits per person. Hohoho.
Then was arcade again, lols, I've transformed into a pro basketball player overnight. Because I played the ball throwing game for at least ten times during my stay~ We went to catch a movie at cheap cheap rates, 12 ringgits, and we watched "Painted Skin". I was sms-ing to Yusu how touching the movie was that Dap and I cried. =.= Tsu was wondering what was so touching, because he had no imagination! Hmms true, the story is fascinating and imaginary in nature, but the touching part is where the characters sacrifice themselves selflessly for their loved ones especially 'Zhao Wei'. Okays.. Catch the movie if you wanna know the full story~!
Oo.. Then dinner time again, we dabao-ed Nasi Ayam from MarryBrown back to our hotel, chatted and ate. We decided to try the casino again before the day ended, and guess wat.. We managed to win back our losses the day before, and even won extra 150 ringgits per person :D The small winnings we had but made us super high, lols.
Oh ya.. We didn't play the theme park rides because of the bad weather at the outdoor, and the indoor theme park didn't appeal Dap and Tsu! We only took one ride 'Euro Express' which I've recalled taking it during my younger days. It used to be thrilling but not now anymore.
On our last day, we had dim-sum again! Didn't have much activities left to do, last day was kinda boring.. And time flew, it was time to go back! But I guess a 3D2N stay at Genting is sufficient. xD Left at noon on-board the super bumpy bus coach. We were really 'lucky' to get allocated the last row of seats, and the experience was like riding on bumper car~ So a piece of advice for those who intend to go Genting, DO NOT take the coach from the company with numbers (you know), unless you wanna travel on budget. :D
Hohoho. Back to work and war tomorrow!
